SP Medifort Conducts Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for Adi Institute Students

Trivandrum, November 26 – Reinforcing its commitment to healthcare education and emergency preparedness, SP Medifort Hospital successfully conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training program for 36 students from Adi Institute, equipping them with critical life-saving skills essential for real-world emergency situations.

The intensive hands-on training was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Arun S. S., Head of Department and Consultant, Emergency Medicine, who led the program with a strong focus on practical application, clinical accuracy, and rapid response protocols. The training covered essential aspects of basic life support, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, early recognition of cardiac arrest, and effective team-based emergency response.

Designed to build both competence and confidence, the program ensured that every participant gained a clear understanding of how timely intervention can significantly improve patient outcomes during medical emergencies. Through structured demonstrations, simulations, and interactive sessions, students were trained to respond calmly and decisively in high-pressure scenarios.

At the conclusion of the program, all 36 participants were awarded certificates, marking an important milestone in their academic and professional journey. The certification reflects not only successful completion of the training but also readiness to contribute meaningfully in emergency and healthcare settings. Speaking on the initiative, representatives from SP Medifort emphasized the hospital’s ongoing dedication to strengthening community healthcare awareness and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals through high-quality, practical training programs. SP Medifort continues to serve as a center of excellence for emergency care education, regularly conducting certified training programs that bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-life clinical practice.
